A great way to get word of mouth traffic

One of my best secrets to get word of mouth traffic is to post a ad in the classifieds for hiring. Yes HIRING. You see if you place a advertisement it costs you TONS (usually 10x or more) yet if you make a post about a job position that you have open you will see tons of traffic for a very minimal cost. Sometimes you can even post these on EDU sites for free in there career section. A sample ad might look like:

Looking for self motivated computer savvy person for general office duties. Interested parties apply online at www.shoemoney.com

Now this ad is not fraudulent because I am ALWAYS looking for good help. Of course its not with my blog (but maybe I should) Also should be noted this technique works best with brochure websites that you are trying to get word of mouth traffic for or brand recognition. These kind of sites would be more geared to offer localized services also.
