DMCA - What does it mean for webmasters?

EDIT - This is now syndicated on Google Video for those having issues with quicktime - althogh its bad quality =( I was recently served a DMCA letter by a company claiming I was hosting a file they were claiming copyright to. I complied and removed the file but I also did a lot of research on what the DMCA is and how it works. Also I called my friend ChrisR and got the legal lowdown. Chris also was cool with letting me video the phone interview and blogcasting it. It should be mentioned that Chris is not a lawyer and neither am I. Just do a a whois on the ip then check the Official DMCA Agent Directory to see if the host is listed then file the DMCA!
