Ohhh Google Dropping Contextual Competing? Another ShoeMoney 2007 Prediction Coming True

Photoshop ninjary by BigDave While it might be easy to predict the future its harder to predict when your predictions will take place. Sure I can tell they will happen in 2007 but... cmon... So Ive been getting emails from people saying that another one of my 2007 predictions has come true. This one here:

1) Google Adsense will get rid of the non compete with the contextual engine thingie. Some publishers are already getting the go-ahead to use other contextual driven products on there page and I suspect in 2007 they will just make it official that you can use other contextual advertising products.

Ohhh but not so fast... it seems that my vision could have been cloudy... While they did drop the contextual part out of the non compete they do say that you can not run look a like products. So... while you may be able to run intelletext you wont be able to run YPN and Adsense on the same page. Oh well close enough mark 2 off. (Man we are not even through January yet)
