Calacanis Plays SEO People Like A Fiddle

I am just amazed at how well Jason Calacanis plays the SEO industry. For a industry that likes to call out linkbait ...... wow... Calacanis just reeled in a ton of links fish Just think about it. If you need to promote something what is the biggest industry you could attract... The SEO industry.. why? Because 1) They all have blogs and 2) They rank for everything. So here is what you do. You piss them all off so you have there attention then you make nice with them and booyah... welcome to a whole new audience. Overnight Calacanis has become a houshold name in the industry and BEAUTIFULLY now has offered to have on some of the most recognized SEO's in the business on his Calacanis cast (podcast) in which no doubt by the end they will be singing kumbaya together and when all the dust settles he will have thousands more RSS readers and ... the bigger picture... more more more eyeballs for his new 2.0 conference with Techcrunch. Also a funny note Calacanis has agreed to be on Rockstars (I will believe it when I see it) OHH but first he says

I’ll be on the show.. sure. just let me know when. I’m gonna do my own show first with a couple of guests…

ya...... so........ Anyway I don't hate... Great job Jason. You have an entire industry rilled up and dying to get you for a interview or on there podcast (where you can pitch your new conference). I just feel sorry for Dave Pasternack who is trying to jump on your bandwagon but doesnt quite see your end goal.
