Proxybid Last Nights Guest Speaker At NPMMO

Originally I got the idea to form this group after meeting people all over the country at conferences that were from the Omaha/Nebraska area. What was comical was that I would meet these people in places like San Jose SES, and New York City, and even Toronto but I had never met with them in Nebraska. This just seemed kind of silly. There are a ton of midwest people that go and speak all over the country to help people understand the search/affilaite industry so I thought why not make a local group where we can help other Nebraskans... anyway that was the original plan. I drove a hour to Omaha yesterday to attend our first Nebraska People Making Money Online meeting. We started off with introductions and finding out what everyone does. I was amazed at the amount of Affiliate Marketers that were in attendance. After introductions Proxybid demonstrated there product talked about what they do and how they do it. I was pretty impressed. Basically it lets you bid on live auctions all over the world. They talked about various issues that we all can relate to like saleability, company structure and even SEO a little bit. They also talked about what they need to do in order to grow. Very interesting stuff. I always get inspired by hearing what other companies are doing. Thanks again to Lutz and company Accountants for letting us use there board room! Thanks to Susan who did a awesome job organizing this event from start to finish ;) It was asked that we have a session on SEM and I think maybe next month I will do a presentation on Search Engine Marketing -> Seo/SEM/PPC/Arbitrage and maybe get some other Nebraskan experts to give a small presentation like Blackbeard and maybe Brian Mark.
