Shaastra SEO Contest Sponsored By Google India

How did I miss this SEO contest? Its under this companies "Google Events" and has a huge sponsored by Google logo. Does anyone know if this was legit? BTW I found this because someone pinged me about the seo contest page on wikipedia where it is listed as

Google Event Shaastra This Google event was a National level SEO Competetion conducted as a part of Shaastra 2006 Conducted by IIT Madras . It involved staying on Top on Google's search results for a period of one and half month for all pairs of keywords " shaastra thamesportal equivocate durbatuluk " and the results were evaluated on a weekly basis and averaged finally .

Now of course any idiot can spam wikipedia but this page has been pretty locked down.... Anyway it got my attention =P
