I was getting caught up with Joel Comm's Next Internet Millionaire. The guest guru today was Perry Marshall. Perry was talking about guerilla marketing and broke down the various techniques companies use.
One of his examples was Cosmo magazine and how they put more time and thought into the cover of their magazine then any other part. He showed the final 3 people and asked them what they thought:
He told the users not to mince words but to say what stood out. Contestant Jaime Luchuck started to blurt out her boobs and Perry jumped in and said "A BIG SET OF TITS". He then went on to explain how they do this because you cant possibly pass by this magazine without stopping and looking at those boobs.
I don't really know Perry Marshall very well but I thought this was one of the most interesting gurus so far on the show. I really like when people break down marketing and keep it real.
The task in this episode was to give away movie tickets to a free showing of "Over The Hedge" which was showing at the county fair. I think this was a great episode and the contestants came up with some great ideas.
In the end someone is eliminated and its down to the final 2 people. I dont want to spoil it for you go watch it now ;)
