Elite Retreat 2008 Officially Sold Out

The Elite Retreat 2008 is officially sold out. I think is a good example of never giving up on something. I would not say it failed the first time but the 2nd and 3rd (we actually had to cancel the 3rd because of lack of attendance) were definitely losses financially. I have learned a TON about running my own conference.... where to spend money where NOT to spend money. Its been quite a ride. So I am super happy to announce the Elite Retreat 2008 is sold out but this post is not so much to say "hey look how everything I do is awesome". That seems to happen a lot. Like I said above this is the first one since the first one I consider a success. But its been a lot of work. In fact I am the only one left out of the 4 original partners. Anyway this is the first year we took on sponsors which let us do some really awesome things. We were also pretty selective with sponsors because we did not want the attendees to have to listen to a sales pitch at any time... I mean that sucks right? I am trying to make an event that is an amazing experience for all attendees and having to listen to .. even a sponsored lunch kind of ruins that experience. I would first like to thank all of the speakers who make this possible: Neil Patel Brian Clark Andy Liu Aaron Wall and special guest keynote speakers: Guy Kawasaki Matt Mullenweg And to the sponsors! Thanks for listening and paying for all the cool things I wanted to do at this years event!
