Our next 'Behind the Scenes' segment takes us to Orlando, Florida to the offices of the affiliate network Market Leverage. Upon our arrival we were greeted by our tour guide and Marketing Manager, Dina Riccobono. She and her assistant gave us a tour of the offices and introduced us to everybody.
Their offices were awesome. A lot of thought was put into how the desks were arranged, to give each person some privacy, but to not "block" them off from the rest of the employees. This way they have a collaborative working environment. The company has lunch together every day, and it's provided free of charge. I think they all agreed, lunch time was a great informal meeting to discuss work issues as well as getting to know each other better.
We hit their affiliate managers with some tough questions, like how to get higher payouts, but they had no problems responding. And got some great interviews with them, as well as Sal, the President of Market Leverage. We decided to break up this BTS segment into 3 videos. The video below is a general tour of the offices.
We had so much great footage with their Chief Operating Officer & General Counsel, Frank Ioppolo, we decided to have a segment devoted to 'Legal Matters in Affiliate Marketing'.
And lastly, their CEO and Founder, Michael Jenkins, was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable we thought he needed a segment just devoted to him. So check out the 'CEO Sit Down'.
Overall, Market Leverage seems to be on a great track. They were all very excited about the future of the company and have a course mapped out for where they want to be in 10 years. I want to thank Market Leverage for having us out, and it was great meeting everybody. We had a really good time.
On a sadder note, a former employee of Market Leverage, Sean Abernethy, was recently in a horrible motorcycle accident. They are having Charity Poker Run to benefit him and his family. I hope everybody will donate, or if you are in the Orlando area, participate. We wish him and his family the best.
