April Fools Day Rules

I love april fools. As I have writtin about many times. Each time about 2 weeks before the event talking about how excited I am for it and how I can barely contain myself. This year I have a pretty good one setup. Not sure it will be as successful as last years (which is one of the most linked to posts and most views of youtube of anything else I did in 2008). Basically All I did was make a video titled how to make 1,000 an hour and then muxed up the audio so people could not hear what I was saying..... I got a TON of email and messages about how the audio was broken and they needed to hear it! I am also still waiting on some things to come together for this years April fools post to be SUPER AWESOME (in my mind). So I might have to goto plan b if things don't work out but I have a few things in the can. SO LISTEN UP! April fools is THE BEST DAY to get free links. I have been doing it for years and its been great. But beyond the links it gives you a NEW audience that has probably never seen your blog before. These people turn into RSS subscribers, Newsletter readers, Twitter followers. Also people always bitch because I post it before midninght pacific time. Guess what... when its April Fools Day in Kiritimati (UTC +14) then its April Fools Day! Its your stage. Show the world how creative you are.
