The ShoeMoney TV Segment
Most of you probably remember our weekly "ShoeMoney Questions Video's". We filmed 20 episodes. It as a lot of fun and people seemed to really enjoy them. One day when we were about into episode 15 we had a Nationwide based agency approach us about taking the segment nationwide. The pitch to us was basically that local TV stations are getting crushed between cable, on demand services, and sites like HULU, and are also very scared about the upcoming Google TV network. Local stations are HUNGRY for unique content that people will tune in for that they can't get anywhere else. SO... They thought that this would be a interesting thing sell. We produced 5 episodes last week all answering left over questions from the ShoeMoney Questions Blog stuff. They are really basic "How to make money online questions". The ones we filmed so far were:- How to make money with twitter.
- How businesses can use facebook to increase revenue.
- How to manage your reputation online.
- How to make money with Google Adsense (of course).
- How businesses can use Groupon and tips to be successful.
Blog comments.
The blog comments have really died off lately but our traffic has been increasing month by month and this month is double what last month was:
So why would the blog comments be down if traffic is up?
Well ..... a little while back I imported this list of ips that were known spam and proxy havens... only issue is some of them contained ips like 214 or 10. That was it... So everyone with that number anywhere in there ip was sent right to the trash... sweet move. Sorry about that!
