The PMA and Me Podcast

I was honored to be on the Inside Internet Marketing podcast yesterday and have the oppourtunity to ask the PMA association a lot of questions I have gotten from other affiliates and my own questions. Here is a small sample of the questions I asked:

• Whats up with being founded and hosted on the PPC Classroom servers? (see here for reference on why people are concerned). I also am friends with people who were owed hundreds of thousands of dollars by this company. But keep in mind Rebecca was an employee of Anik Singal/Lurn and still holds him in high regard. Judge for yourself.
• Where are you spending the six figure a year members fees on?
• Who is all on the payroll?
• Why dont they have any sort of privacy policy on who they are selling members data too?
• Is it a conflict of interest that you have to buy board votes? ($5,000 for 4 votes).
• Why after I first wrote about them in 2008 and pointed out they had privacy on their domain name (from a different registrar) do they still hide their contact information publicly?

Their Answers inspired further questions. I thought it was great inside look into their organization. They did not back away from any tough question. I found their answers to be really interesting, personally. Again you can listen to the entire thing here. I have gotten a lot of criticism already for asking some of these questions... But not from any affiliates yet. Just the board members so far. I want to see this organization succeed and they answered what was what I believe a great start in addressing concerns. In its 5 years of running they only have 300 members. I believe that is because they are way to focused on companies and not on affiliates.
