How to completely screw up your iPhone 4s

Its 630am as I write this. I am a little bit tiered. Over the weekend I was in Vegas for the BuddyTV annual board of advisors meeting. On the way home my new iPhone 4s decided it was no longer going to keep my contacts. So when I look at my call history and SMS logs its all phone numbers... I had a 3 hour layover in Denver so I played with it a lot. I sync my contacts with my Google Apps account and they were all there... just not on my phone. So on my phone all I had was phone numbers... no names. Really annoying. Then I got really froggy and downloaded the new iTunes beta and iPhone iOS 5.01 beta 2 which I was sure would fix my issue with my contacts. Everything loaded smooth but when my phone restarted and I went through the setup process I got this message saying that my device was not registered with apple to run the new beta operating system. O shit! I forgot to put in my id for my new iPhone 4s in the dev center... so it thinks I am not authorized to run it. Oh but this should be a easy fix.. I just get my id and put it in right? Well my phone wont let me get past that stupid screen.... then on my laptop in iTunes it tells me the same message. That my device was not authorized to run that software. Now they are calling to board my plane. This is not a good scenario. I just took my phone from being inconvenient that it didn't have contacts to now its completely worthless. On the plane ride from Denver to Lincoln, with no internet access, all I could think about was how much this sucked. I knew tomorrow morning (today now) that I had to be in Omaha at 9am, meet with my lawyers, accountants, then bust back and prepare for the 3pm Affiliate Cash Tree Training call. Having no phone complicates this... I landed in Lincoln and drove straight to my office downtown. After a few minutes of Googling the error message I found the answer - You fire up Xcode, select your device and it will tell you the device ID. I copied that and pasted it into the Apple dev center website. Then rebooted my phone, restored it from a iCloud backup (thats frickin pretty sweet btw), sync'd it and I was back in business. But still no contacts.... WTF I decided screw it and decided to export my contacts out of Google and import them into iCloud. Then I sync'd my phone and all my contacts were there. Yay. Got home at about 1130ish. Unpacked, showered, watched last saturday nights UFC 138, and went to bed about 1:30. I am getting ready to head to Omaha but this week as a whole is going to be interesting. BTW if you are in the surrounding area we are having a party celebrating the opening of the new ShoeMoney offices in downtown lincoln. Please come and attend!
